hello, I’m Lucas
real people.
real stories.
something worth keeping.
“We often don’t know we’re living in the good old days until after they’ve ended.”
I love storytelling, and I love authenticity. There’s something special about sitting down with a true, personal story and hearing the emotion in someone’s own voice.
Stories are all around us. We’re living them now, even when the moments feel ordinary.
why I make these films
I love learning
what makes a life meaningful.
I genuinely enjoy getting to know people: where they come from, what shaped them, and what they hope the people they love will always remember.
Family memories, meaningful experiences, and personal stories have always mattered to me. I find real satisfaction in discovering what makes someone’s life meaningful and turning it into a film that feels true to them.
Every film is made with patience and care, and with respect for the people who trust me with their stories.
your filmmaker,
from start to finish.
I’m a personal documentary filmmaker and photographer based in New York’s Capital Region, working with families in Albany, Loudonville, Latham, Niskayuna, Bethlehem and Delmar, Clifton Park, Saratoga Springs, Troy, and nearby communities. You’ll work with me personally at every stage, from the first story conversation through planning, filming, and the finished edit.
My photography background informs the way I notice light, expression, and the small details that make a moment feel true. Filmmaking lets me bring those details together with voice, movement, and memory.
I take on a limited number of film commissions so I can give each story thoughtful attention.
